THE CONTEST
OF THE NEW CENTURY
The competition
will be held in the year 2000
and will be divided in 4 different dates.
Each part
will last 24 hours, one for each season of the year:
First part (winter):

The competition
is open to all radio operators. The prizes will be sponsored by the Delta
Radio group, the headquarters of the groups
that wish to join us in promoting this event and by all those who wish
to help.
Eco World
international DX-group is one of the official sponsors of Millenium
Contest.
It is not necessary
to send QSLs for the confirmations made during the contest. a log
with the following information is required : qrz, name, time, date, progressive
number given and received.
The logs will
be confronted with those of the corresponding stations.
Regulations
1))Each
station gives and receives a progressive number.
single and multi stations (maximum 3 operators) are allowed.
2) ) Points:
1
Point for each contact made with operators of your own country;
3
Points for each contact made with operators of countries different
from your own.
BONUS:
50
Points for every 50 countries contacted (Excluding your own country);
3) Final
score:
The final score will be
given by multiplying the points obtained (which includes the bonus points)
by the number of the countries
contacted.
4) The
logs must be sent before and not after the 31st of
november, 2000
(the postmark will be used as evidence) to

who will classify the
results for the single operator stations and the multi-operator stations
that will be awarded separately. the contest manager will send the logs
to the headquarters that might request them.
5) The
prizes will be awarded during a unified meeting in the year 2001.
6) The
DELTA RADIO group will give proof by furnishing the receipts of
the prizes bought, to the groups that participate.
7) The
prizes will be decided further on, after the adhesion of the various
groups.
